Music has been a passion throughout Erin Jacobsen's life. She was first drawn to play piano as a young child, and her attraction to the instrument has driven her to a largely self-taught command of her music. A deep sense of spirituality has enhanced the natural talent of this emerging artist, whose compositions inspire inner reflection and peace.

The important role of music in Erin's life fully awoke in 1990, while studying for her Masters Degree at the University of Hawaii. She explored both music theory and performance there, touring throughout Hawaii as part of a keyboard ensemble. At that time she began composing her own work, drawing upon her deep personal connection to the islands.

Her debut release, Hour of the Pearl, represents a hard-won personal triumph in her pursuit of Spiritual Truth. "Every song comes from my soul", says Erin, "a place deep within." Of her second album, Feather on the Breath of God, Erin says: "From what I have experienced, I can confidently say that are no wounds too deep for the delicate love of the Holy Spirit to heal. There are no addictions too big for the Holy Spirit to remove. And, there are no chains too thick for the sword of the Spirit to break through."

Erin's first two releases, "Hour of the Pearl" and "Feather on the Breath of God" can be found at Serenity Music and Amazon.

Serenity recording artist Rob Whitesides-Woo muses, "I want music to deepen my perceptions, to penetrate to the heart. I don't consider a piece finished until, in some unpredictable way, it can transform or heal. There's true magic in each one of us, and I write music to honor and support the regions of the heart that choose loving, no matter what."

Rob has been the cornerstone of Serenity, creating music for the label since 1985. Another gift he brings is his ability to take music from others and greatly enhance it with his unique orchestration.

Few albums are created at Serenity without his loving fingerprint.

Allowing God Aspen, Colorado

www.AllowingGod.com

ALLOWING GOD offers twenty-five chapters that remind us that we love and serve with the whole of who we are, the whole package that comes with being human. The more we allow ourselves the grace of who we are, the more we weave the fabric of our worthiness and spirit into our lives. Whether we feel irrevocably flawed or exceptionally perfect, we can still love impeccably. ... more
